Little Sailors

Many thanks to all of Reese's amazing, sweet, adorable, totally engaged friends, who joined him for his fifth birthday party in Amsterdamse Bos yesterday.  You are so dear to us.  Reese was overwhelmed with good feelings, and we have all of you to thank.  Merci!

By my count the tally is as follows:  two boat rides, one treasure hunt, thirteen cupcakes, countless pinata treats, and five candles.  There was something for everyone.  Ahoy there matey!

Found the map!  Okay, pirates, where's that treasure?

Alas, we encountered a few challenges!  First, we had to pass a strength test and then find a way over to the island:

It took a little poking around, but they found the treasure box!  Quick!  We had get off the island before other pirates tried to take the treasure away from us.

There were only two ways off the island, and it was trickier than we thought.  Some weren''t so sure about their options; others were enticed:
