Souvenirs

picked up just a few souvenirs while in the Alps, and I just love these two because they're so Alps kitsch.

This baking dish has the recipe for  tartiflette inside, a traditional French Alps dish. I've already talked about it in a previous entry, and no doubt there will be more to say on the topic of Haute-Savoie cuisine.

The first tartiflette or baked macaroni and cheese that I make in this dish will surely be filled with love . . . the heart always demands it.

Here's my other funny little souvenir:  a napkin dispenser with an old-school Chamonix/Mont Blanc ski scene.

Looking forward to pulling out both these darlings each winter season.
