My amazing mother celebrated a birthday last Friday. As sometimes happens, life gets in the way of our merry-making and causes us to have to cancel highly anticipated plans. My mom's birthday didn't go as she had planned, but I hope she's feels good that she's helping people in her life who need her right now.
Just a couple of months ago, I dropped the kids in Nashville for some good old-fashioned fun with their grandparents, while I scampered off to NYC to house hunt. Do you think these kids had fun? Build-A-Bear, pedicures, baseball, space museum . . .
The pictures say it all, and we are so grateful for my mom's presence in their/our lives.
