Abigail performed last night in her annual ballet recital as a character from the popular Dutch children's cartoon
Buurman en Buurman.

Abby has been doing ballet for a couple of years now, and she always bounces into class with passion and confidence. She is a joy to watch.
Even here in Amsterdam, where the class is conducted in Dutch and the dance studio is characteristically Dutch (chaotic, no parents allowed, and crazy steep stairs), Abby still loves going to ballet each week.

Last night, she spent four hours backstage with her friend, Isabella, who goes to French school with her. We didn't see her until after the performance, but she was beaming when we finally scooped her up at the artist's exit.
