We've barely started the second week of April, and we're on birthday #3. Yesterday was my mom's special day. This time I have the excuse of 48 hours without internet service for not getting our birthday love out there on time. Sorry mom!
The kids insisted on sending Nana tulips, and so we did. A heartfelt birthday wish from Holland. We are thrilled we get to double down in May and celebrate some important April birthdays (uh hem, Nana and Abby) and Mother's Day when Nana comes to visit us in Amsterdam. Since having kids, we've never been closer than a six-hour plane ride from each other, but my mom always makes the effort to see us every 12 weeks or so, no matter what is going on in her life. Our move to Amsterdam made it harder to see each other so frequently (even though she's still hopping across the pond 2-3 times a year), and we miss her very much.
We can't wait to see you soon, Nana.
